A Little League organization in Las Vegas has been rocked by a scandal over the alleged misuse of league funds. The former CEO was accused of wasting league funds on things like strip clubs and erectile dysfunction drugs.
These may sound like vital items to some, but you can’t withdraw tens of thousands from a Little League bank account to pay for them and other personal purchases.

That’s what Las Vegas Justice Court Records Steve Rodriguez is accusing Prado of, 8 News Now reports. The former Central Little League board president was arrested July 2 on charges related to the case.

The outlet reports that he was charged with one count of theft, two counts of forgery and one count of failing a convicted person to register with local law enforcement within 48 hours.
The arrest report alleges that Prado spent nearly $65,000 on Las Vegas Strip casinos, air travel, strip clubs, ride-hailing, video games, car insurance and the aforementioned erectile dysfunction medications.

According to the Las Vegas Metro Police Department, the former president made more than 75 Zelle transfers to a company owned by his wife, totaling nearly $64,000.

Investigators say they got their hands on a $1,351 strip club receipt that showed a $433 tip after several alleged alcohol purchases. They also claimed they could be responsible for $294 worth of Blue Chew, an erectile dysfunction drug, and nearly $2,000 worth of casino trips.
Robert Fleming, the District 2 administrator of the Nevada Little League, which covers parts of the Las Vegas Valley, has some thoughts on the situation. He also has an unusual idea for appropriate punishment, assuming, of course, that the former president is guilty of what he is accused of.

“We were just devastated by the news that this money was embezzled within the league,” he told 8 News Now.
“It’s a shame that the punishment can’t be like when they used to stone criminals with rocks and stuff like that. That they just can’t let the kids line up and throw baseballs at him.”

Nobody will agree to it, but you have to respect your origins. He’s trying to send a message to those who have been trusted not to spend Little League funds on strip clubs and boner pills.
Central Little League reportedly had just $25 left in its bank account and was forced to pause most of the rest of the season. But the season was saved by donations from several organizations, including athletics, and a sad and somewhat comical ending was avoided.
