- Combines Nebius’ system architecture, software stack and customers with partner capacity
- Offers data center developers, infrastructure investors, regional operators and national AI projects worldwide the opportunity to tap into the rapidly growing AI cloud market
- Generates high-margin revenue streams with minimal additional capital requirements
Amsterdam, July 15, 2026 – Nebius (Nasdaq: NBIS), the AI cloud company, today announced a new business model that enables infrastructure partners to deploy Nebius’ full-stack AI cloud platform in their own AI data centers. The model provides Nebius customers with additional capacity and expands the availability of value-added AI computing globally at a time when demand continues to outstrip supply.
As part of the model, partners finance and own the infrastructure and hardware and operate the data centers. Nebius provides its system architecture and supply chain access; deploys and maintains its hardware design, software and services stack on partner infrastructure; and brings the resulting capacity to market through its global sales organization.
Partners receive fully owned AI infrastructure resources designed to Nebius standards and a rapid way to serve the AI cloud market. Nebius’ architecture and platform transforms a partner’s raw capacity into a production-ready AI cloud, which Nebius then connects to customers. Because Nebius brings demand, partners can begin generating returns as soon as capacity comes online.
For Nebius, this asset-light approach expands the capacity the company can offer its customers such as AI beginners and enterprises, with minimal additional capital requirements. Partner data centers will join the Nebius capacity pool, adding additional capacity to the capacity provided online by Nebius’ own data centers and colocations.
Arkady Volozh, founder and CEO of Nebiussaid:
“Our new asset-light model offers infrastructure partners a flexible way to benefit from the explosive growth of AI. Our software enables partners to reach a much broader customer base with much better margins than traditional bare metal wholesale contracts. We invite data center investors, regional partners and others with capacity or capital to help us serve this demand – by combining their assets and local strengths with Nebius’ technology, platform, operational expertise and customer demand.”
Nebius expects to pursue a range of commercial arrangements under this partnership model, including revenue share agreements, royalties and commissions, and committed capacity agreements, which would provide Nebius with access to additional computing power to sell to customers. The company has already reached initial agreements on this asset-light model.
Under the partnership agreements, Nebius will equip partner teams to operate the site and remain responsible for the cloud software and service levels, while the partner manages the facility and hardware. Customers receive the same standard of service regardless of whether they use Nebius’ own infrastructure or that of a partner.
