The Durst Group takes over the majority stake in the CoCoCo platform, thereby strengthening its Kyveris software and AI stack

CoCoCo platform for independent operations. The commitment to open standards remains. Third parties will indirectly benefit from an accelerated roadmap.
Brixen. The Durst Group has acquired a majority stake in Triple C Labs GmbH, the company behind CoCoCo Platform. CoCoCo Platform continues to operate as an independent entity under its existing brand, leadership and customer commitments and remains fully open to third-party OEMs, software providers and print production customers.
The transaction is a targeted strengthening of Kyveris, the Durst Group’s industrial software and AI stack for networked print production. Kyveris provides the physics, color and orchestration intelligence that transforms installed presses into data-driven production environments. The CoCoCo platform contributes the horizontal integration layer that completes the picture: a JDF and JMF-based data structure that connects printing machines, prepress systems and shop floor software from all manufacturers in a coherent, AI-enabled production diagram.
Together, Kyveris and CoCoCo Platform close the gap between what a machine does and what a production area knows. Physics meets flow. Color meets context. Data becomes decisions.
Data as a basic element, not the application. The core of CoCoCo is a typed, event-driven data model with standardized entities. Printing machines, prepress systems and manufacturing software agree in real time what a job, a product or a resource is. Everything above this level, from dashboards to automation to agent AI, is a downstream consumer of the same live structure. It is a technical decision with strategic consequences: modern AI systems can judge a printing process with the same reliability as they can judge code or text.
Independence through design, openness through tradition. The CoCoCo platform remains manufacturer-neutral and open to the entire printing industry. In the tradition of open standards that has characterized this sector, CoCoCo continues to serve third parties, including competing OEMs and software partners. You will benefit indirectly from the accelerated development that the Durst Group’s majority stake now enables. Faster releases. More comprehensive integrations. Deeper data models. A stronger open ecosystem, not a smaller one.
Christoph Gamper, CEO and co-owner of the Durst Group, said: “The right answer to complex production landscapes is rarely more machines. It is more clarity about the machines that are already running. CoCoCo has developed exactly that: a common data language that printing presses, prepress systems and manufacturing software can actually share. Dashboards, automation, AI assistants are all downstream questions. Get the data model right and the rest follows. We are joining forces to accelerate the roadmap. And we keep the CoCoCo platform open because data.” Fabric that is not open is not fabric, it is a fence.
